ORBIS is hiring a Nozzle Technician to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform all aspects of mold preparation including the cleaning and testing of nozzles and nozzle blocks. Requirements
- Ability to work in a consent state of alertness and safe manner
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Forklift experience
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Build complete nozzle assemblies and test for proper operation.
- Perform prep work to prepare for mold changeovers.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
- Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
