About The Position

Wise Foods is seeking a North Regional Director of Sales to lead and execute the company's commercial and distribution strategy across the Northern region as part of Wise's redesigned sales and distribution operating model. This is a newly structured regional leadership role, created to strengthen regional execution, improve distributor performance, and align sales activities with company-wide growth and profitability objectives. The North Regional Director of Sales is responsible for driving regional sales performance through a balanced focus on customer development, distributor execution, and operational alignment. This role partners closely with national account leadership, Sales & Distribution senior leadership, Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure consistent execution and market-level results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field required.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in sales, distribution, or commercial leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success leading regional sales organizations and distributor networks.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the region to branches, distributors, and customer locations.
  • Standard office and field environment exposure

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with national commercial strategy and company objectives.
  • Translate national priorities into actionable regional initiatives across customers, distributors, and routes.
  • Drive regional revenue growth, market penetration, and execution consistency.
  • Lead and manage distributor and branch performance across the region to ensure service, coverage, and profitability expectations are met.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and accountability standards for regional partners.
  • Identify gaps in execution and implement corrective actions.
  • Support key regional customers in collaboration with national account teams.
  • Participate in customer reviews and joint business planning where regional execution is critical.
  • Monitor competitive activity and regional market trends to inform strategy.
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to align distribution capacity, inventory, and routing with customer demand.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on regional execution of promotions, launches, and merchandising initiatives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop regional sales and operational talent.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Support talent assessment and succession planning within the region.
