About The Position
The Sioux City Community School District is seeking a North HS Varsity Girls Assistant Basketball Coach. This role supports the head coach in developing the team and ensuring student athletes achieve academic excellence and reach their potential.
Requirements
- Previous coaching experience preferred
- Must have Coaching Authorization or Endorsement
- Must have both Child & Adult Mandatory Reporter Certificates
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Assist the head basketball coach in all aspects of the varsity girls' basketball program.
- Provide coaching and guidance to student athletes.
- Ensure student athletes are meeting academic requirements.
- Promote the district's mission of educating students to believe in their talents and skills, achieve academic excellence, and succeed in reaching their potential.
