About The Position

Pioneer Square Brands is seeking a highly motivated and energetic North America Sourcing Project Manager to join their growing team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution of North America sourcing and production initiatives, acting as the main point of contact between external suppliers and internal teams. The position involves managing tooling builds, supplier onboarding, production ramp-up, and quality checklist tracking to ensure they stay on schedule. This is a hands-on role supporting a focused supplier base of approximately 2-4 key North American suppliers. The company is committed to delivering high-quality products and values innovation, customer success, and a dynamic work environment. Pioneer Square Brands has offices in High Point, North Carolina, and Manila, Philippines.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience managing multiple concurrent supplier-facing projects or timelines, ideally in a manufacturing or sourcing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage documentation and reporting across multiple SKUs and suppliers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable translating between external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Sound judgment on when to resolve an issue independently versus escalate.
  • Comfort working independently while representing the company at supplier sites.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience in supplier/tooling program coordination will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Familiarity with injection molding, metal forming, or similar manufacturing processes (not required, but helpful).
  • Prior experience with tooling programs, new product introduction (NPI), or supplier onboarding.
  • Experience coordinating between US and Asia-based operations or suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate tooling builds with North American suppliers, tracking schedules from kickoff through completion.
  • Manage the transfer of tools from overseas to the USA, including logistics coordination and timeline tracking.
  • Proactively identify schedule risks and escalate issues before they impact production timing.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date records of tooling status across all active projects.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact with North American suppliers on delivery status, lead times, and quality issues.
  • Translate supplier updates into clear, actionable information for internal stakeholders, and vice versa.
  • Support supplier management, including responding to routine needs, escalations, and follow-up communication.
  • Manage new tool ramp timelines and coordinate resolution of ramp-related issues with suppliers.
  • Track and help facilitate production part approvals, ensuring documentation and sign-offs move on schedule.
  • Manage and track quality inspections using established checklists and inspection criteria across multiple SKUs.
  • Keep quality reporting organized and current; flag any issues or deviations discovered during inspections.
  • Maintain clear documentation trails so issues can be traced and followed up on efficiently.
  • Conduct initial discovery and outreach to identify potential new suppliers (injection molding, metal forming, and related processes).
  • Vet new suppliers using the pre-built supplier onboarding checklist and compile findings for review.
  • Participate in joint supplier visits for validation, and conduct solo follow-up visits as needed (e.g., re-inspections, ongoing validation).
  • Prepare clear visit summaries/reports following supplier visits, capturing both checklist results and general observations.
  • Support new development projects specifically designed for North America production, co-designed with North American suppliers in mind.
  • Manage timelines and schedules for New Product Development (NPD).
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams and external supplier partners throughout the development process.
