About The Position

Supervise students in the lunchroom/playground and assist with set up and clean up in the cafeteria/kitchen. This role involves maintaining a harmonious atmosphere by encouraging peaceful resolution of conflicts, organizing group games and activities during recess, and ensuring the safe and organized movement of students. The supervisor is also responsible for reporting any defects in playground equipment and assisting students with lunchroom clean up.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Supervises students at playtime and lunchtime and maintains a harmonious atmosphere by encouraging peaceful resolution of conflicts.
• Organizes group games and activities during recess.
• Assumes responsibility to report any defects in playground equipment.
• Directs movement of groups to and from the playground, lunchroom, and classrooms in a safe and organized manner.
• Assists students in the lunchroom clean up.
