About The Position

The Competitive Intelligence internship at BAE Systems offers participants challenging, impactful work assignments as well as training and mentoring. In this position, you will participate in BAE Systems' nationwide LEAP Internship & Co-op Program, where you will Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress within the company. The LEAP Program will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on impactful projects, engage in career development opportunities, and network with our business leaders and the other students in the program. Because this role involves a combination of independent and collaborative work, this position can be conducted 100% remotely. This role begins in Summer 2027. Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, and will complete your sophomore year prior to summer 2027.
  • Good academic standing
  • Able to work at least 10 weeks during the summer
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience and confidence working in a remote environment
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications

Nice To Haves

  • Prior knowledge of the aerospace and defense industry is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis on competing companies and products
  • Assist in determining competitor strategies
  • Develop financial and other models to strengthen competitor analysis capabilities
  • Develop an understanding of the competitive landscape
  • Present findings to stakeholders
