About The Position

Responsible for creation and maintenance of various fund lists, tracking of fund/corporate actions specific to plan liability recordkeeping, and oversight of unique/custom earnings processing, fund setup, and pricing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or industry experience, or a combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in a related position in the retirement services sector.
  • Strong MS Office skills to include Excel.
  • Familiarity with nonqualified liability recordkeeping, asset trading concepts, and corporate actions
  • Good written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail
  • Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
  • Advanced understanding of nonqualified concepts as it relates to liability recordkeeping and trading.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains approved and available fund lists, to include Corporate Action processing specific to nonqualified plan liability recordkeeping, minimum investment requirements, and other fund notices where appropriate.
  • Monitors and coordinates corporate action changes as necessary with the applicable Operational teams.
  • Responsible for oversight and maintenance of fund-specific earnings processing calendar and quality review of the processing (to include fixed rate updates, interest crediting, custom stock earnings, etc.)
  • Ability to understand plan setting requirements and specifications to effectively identify potential transactional issues within the recordkeeping system as it relates to funds and fund setup.
  • Adheres to all standard operating procedures and controls.
  • Manages multiple tasks effectively by balancing high productivity with excellent service quality.
  • Pursues resolution of aged items with internal departments and service partners
  • Researches and resolves any issues that occur through the client and/or client service managers.
  • Acts as a resource/subject matter expert for other team members as it relates to issue resolution, procedure, or system functionality in one or more areas.
  • Aids management and departmental teams for all projects as needed.
  • Interacts with vendors to ensure systems are updated properly and working as anticipated; Escalates vendor issues to management.
  • Assists in the creation and maintenance of procedures and policy documents.
  • Assists with training responsibilities of more junior staff and new hires; Provides cross training and mentoring, as required.
  • Works in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of urgency and accuracy
  • Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.
