Responsibilities

  • Participate in vision research projects involving experiments with cell culture, molecular biology, and biochemistry.
  • Maintain an up-to-date notebook documenting progress.
  • Analyze and draw tentative conclusions from experimental results.
  • Confer with the laboratory manager/principal investigator to review data and lab assignments.
  • Troubleshoot problems, discuss results, and develop plans for further experiments.
  • Prepare culture media and solutions.
  • Clean glassware and perform other routine lab duties as needed.
