Our Non-Traditional Manager supports the events/proximity team and Sales Leadership. This role focuses on coaching, training and developing the events/ proximity team in the field. The Non-Traditional Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of their respective team, and offer help as needed to Director of Non-Traditional Marketing. Events/Proximity teams will promote our services at local events as well as home shows and will canvass neighborhoods in our territory as a unified team of representatives. They work together and support one another as they strive to meet both shared and individual goals and set qualified appointments for our in-home Sales Consultants.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in event/home show management, and or door-to-door, field sales.
  • Proven ability to build and motivate teams.
  • Strong coaching, training, and communication skills.
  • Personable demeanor and friendly attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with the team and prospective homeowners.
  • Organized, process-driven, and comfortable working in the field and events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with mapping/tracking tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales and other goals outlined by Director of Non-Traditional Marketing and Sales Management.
  • Support the team in generating sufficient lead flow based on daily and weekly goals.
  • Coach, train, and develop a team of Event/Proximity Marketers with a hands-on approach. Motivate and effectively coach your team to meet or exceed the daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  • Conducts the Interview and hiring process for the Events/Proximity Marketing team.
  • Oversee route planning and event/proximity activities before going out into the field.
  • Maintain a healthy team culture by engaging in and supporting team members and offering help where needed.
  • Utilize all performance management tools and processes offered by Overson Roofing.
  • Work alongside agents in the field to model best practices.
  • Track team performance and ensure lead quality.
