About The Position

Applied Materials is hiring for a role that leads day-to-day execution of Field Readiness Enablement, preparing field service organizations to support new product introductions (NPI) and technology ramps. The role coordinates readiness across training, field service organization capacity, capability development, technical documentation, and spare parts so critical support elements are in place before product release or ramp milestones. The position aligns readiness activities with Global Product Support (GPS), the field service organization (FSO), the Strategic Programs Office (SPO), Service Business Units, Spares Planning, Training, and Technical Publications teams. It proactively identifies readiness gaps and drives mitigation before customer demand materializes. The role uses established project management practices to plan, organize, and coordinate work across stakeholder groups, handles assignments of moderate scope and complexity, and escalates project risks to program leadership. The position is full-time, based in Austin, Texas, or Santa Clara, California, and requires travel 25% of the time. Relocation is available to eligible candidates. The stated salary range is $68,000 to $93,500. The position may involve physical work in a clean room and use of personal protective equipment.
