About The Position
The Division on Music Education strives to prepare students for a career in music education. This position involves leading the Early Childhood Music Program and supervising student hourly workers.
Requirements
- Degree in Music Education with an emphasis on early childhood music education
- Knowledge of Child development
- Knowledge of Early childhood music
- Ability to prepare lessons
- Ability to lead groups of children
- Ability to supervise students
- Degree in Music Education
- Communicating with others to exchange information
- Lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds
- Moving self in various positions to perform tasks in tight and confined spaces
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another
- Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
