This position is responsible for supporting the preparation of financial statements, applying cost accounting principles, and adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including accrual based revenue recognition. The role requires a high degree of autonomy, attention to detail, and initiative with the capability of managing multiple priorities independently while maintaining transparency and accuracy in financial reporting. A strong commitment to continuous learning is essential, particularly in mastering the complexities of government regulations and nonprofit financial management.
