About The Position

Choices in Community Living provides professional direct care services for individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome and other developmental disabilities. You will be working in group homes and will be providing direct services to individuals with developmental disabilities including general housekeeping, meal planning/cooking, passing medications, going on outings, transporting, assisting with bathing and toileting needs and other various tasks. Our mission is assisting people with developmental disabilities to have access to opportunities to build safe, healthy and meaningful lives in the community. We are looking for Caring, Compassionate applicants that are detail oriented, who also share a passion for providing the best services possible to the individuals we serve. Applicant must be able to handle high stress environments, along with the possibility of lifting excess of 50 pounds or more and being on their feet for multiple hours. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Drivers License (Less than 4 points)
• Able to handle high stress environments
• Able to lift excess of 50 pounds or more
• Able to be on their feet for multiple hours
• Able to pass a physical & drug screen
• Able to pass a Background Check

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience preferred, but not required
• Currently certified in First Aid/CPR
• Currently certified in Med Admin (Delegated Nursing)
• Currently certified as STNA/CNA
• Currently certified in CPI
• Currently certified in CAP
• Post High School degree
• Bachelor's Degree
