We're looking for compassionate, dependable individuals to join our growing team and support clients in the place they feel most comfortable: their home. As a caregiver with HCAN, you'll provide essential, non-medical support that helps clients maintain independence, safety, and quality of life. Certification not required. Will provide on the job training.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current auto insurance
- Clean driving and criminal record
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel locally within service areas
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
- Help with meal preparation and dietary needs
- Support with personal care (bathing, hygiene, mobility)
- Offer medication reminders (non-clinical)
- Transport or accompany clients to appointments and errands
- Promote a safe home environment and prevent falls
- Provide respite care for family caregivers
