About The Position
We are seeking dependable and compassionate individuals to join our HomeWell Care Services team. We provide non-medical in-home support to seniors and adults who wish to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. Our clients have diverse needs, so we hire caregivers at all skill levels. This role is a great fit for individuals with a naturally caring personality, experienced caregivers/CNAs, teachers on summer break, or college students seeking meaningful work in the healthcare field.
Requirements
- Genuine compassion and patience
- Reliability and strong communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- CNA license or hands-on care experience preferred for advanced care clients (not required for companionship roles)
Responsibilities
- Companionship & Daily Support: Conversation, engagement, and emotional support
- Light housekeeping and home organization
- Meal prep and assistance with eating
- Medication reminders
- Transportation to appointments, errands, or activities
- Personal Care (for trained/experienced caregivers): Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Mobility support and safe transfers
- Support for clients with dementia or chronic conditions
