About The Position
Amada Senior Care is seeking dependable, compassionate Non-Medical Caregivers to provide quality support to seniors in their homes. As a member of the caregiving team, you will help clients maintain their independence, safety, dignity, and overall well-being through personalized care. This role is for individuals who find purpose in helping others and are looking for opportunities for professional growth.
Requirements
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- Ability and willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius to client homes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
Responsibilities
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Planning and preparing balanced meals and providing feeding assistance when needed
- Performing light housekeeping, including laundry, dishwashing, and general tidying to maintain a safe environment
- Transporting clients to appointments, errands, and outings as needed
- Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional reassurance
- Encouraging participation in daily routines and meaningful activities
- Observing clients and communicating noticeable changes in their condition
