About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable non-medical caregiver to provide daytime, evening and overnight assistance to seniors and individuals in need. The ideal candidate will offer companionship and support with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of clients in their homes. Visiting Angels is dedicated to providing high-quality non-medical in-home care services to seniors and individuals who need extra support to maintain their independence and quality of life. Located in Morgantown, WV, we pride ourselves on compassionate care delivered by trusted professionals.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license, your own reliable vehicle and proof of car insurance
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a caregiver or in a similar role preferred but NOT required
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
- Help with mobility and transferring as needed
- Monitor clients' well-being and report any changes or concerns to family or supervisory staff
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
- Provide medication reminders
- Personal care assistance
Benefits
