About The Position

University of Michigan Health Partners is seeking a dynamic BE/BC non-invasive cardiologist to join their Heart and Vascular team in Lansing, Michigan. U-M Sparrow Hospital and Heart and Vascular are recognized as regional leaders in exceptional heart and vascular care. This is an opportunity to join a well-established group with over 50 years of history. The role involves providing general cardiology services to multiple locations and includes inpatient and outpatient care for an adult patient population. The position is hospital-employed and offers a Monday-Friday schedule with rotating weekend coverage and weekday call responsibilities. The cardiology team is supported by a Cardiology Fellowship Program for on-call coverage. The group boasts a strong structural heart program, vascular program, extensive research, and a fellowship program.

Requirements

BE/BC non-invasive cardiologist.
MD/DO degree.
Proficiency in all non-invasive cardiac testing.
Experience with TEEs, cardioversions, and stress echoes.
New Grad experience level accepted.

Optional: CTA Coronary and Vascular ultrasound reading.

Responsibilities

Provide general cardiology services to 7 locations and 1 Hospital Cath Lab.
Manage adult outpatient and inpatient patient populations.
Perform all non-invasive cardiac testing.
Conduct TEEs, cardioversions, and stress echoes.
Cover clinic assignments which vary with service and diagnostic testing.
Manage up to 25 inpatients on service rotation per day.
Participate in weekend coverage rotation (7 to 9 weekends annually).
Participate in weekday call rotation (1 to 2 days per month, total 22 to 23 per year).
