Non-Invasive Cardiologist
About The Position
We are seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Tiffin, OH. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, including clinical duties and call coverage. The coverage period is from September 12, 2026, ongoing, with a shift schedule of Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Call is a beeper/phone call type, with a ratio of 10 days per month. This position is to supplement existing coverage. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered. The patient demographic is 100% adults (18+), with an average daily volume of 16-20 patients in clinic and 2-3 inpatient consults. The case mix is non-interventional cardiology. The facility uses the Epic EMR system. Hospital privileges are required, with temporary privileges available. Credentialing takes approximately 60 days.
Requirements
- Board Certified in General Cardiology
- Active Ohio License
- BLS certification
- Hospital Privileges Required
- Ability to interpret TEEs, Loop recorders, Echocardiograms, Stress tests, EKGs, tilt tables, event monitors.
- Experience managing ICDs and pacemakers.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up care in clinic.
- Perform inpatient consultations and manage hospitalized cardiac patients.
- Interpret cardiac diagnostic tests including echocardiograms, stress tests, EKGs, TEEs, loop recorders, tilt tables, and event monitors.
- Manage and follow patients with ICDs and pacemakers.
- Collaborate with APPs and participate in call coverage (phone call only after hours).
