About The Position

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join Cape Cardiology Group, the most trusted Cardiology group between Memphis and Saint Louis. Located in Saint Francis’s Heart Hospital, the practice serves nearly 600 patients a week. Cape Cardiology Group is home to experts in cardiac care and provides a range of services including cardiac rehabilitation, cardiovascular diagnostics and testing, and cardiovascular treatments and procedures. Requirements

  • Medical license in the State
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS.
  • Must also maintain a Controlled Substance license for the State of Missouri and Federal DEA.
  • Must have successfully completed, an accredited residency and fellowship program.
  • Must maintain active medical privileges and medical memberships.
  • Must be Board Certified within 2 years of hire date.

Responsibilities

  • Join a practice of 14 physicians (3 Electrophysiologists, 6 Interventionalists, 1 Cardio-Oncology Specialist), and 12 Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers.
  • Work schedule: M-F 8:00am 4:30pm outpatient clinic
  • Call 1:5, consult-only (One Generalist and one Interventionalist on call)
  • 3 Inpatient Nurse Practitioners assist with weekday rounding on patients, and 1 Inpatient Nurse Practitioner assists with weekend rounding for on-call Cardiologist
  • Group has Echo read days and Cardiac CT read days.
  • EMR: EPIC
