About The Position

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Non-Invasive Cardiologist in Richmond, IN. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient services, with a coverage period starting January 1, 2027, and ongoing. The position includes clinical duties and rotating call. The physician will be part of a practice with 12 physicians and support from 6 NPs, with collaboration from Vascular & Cardiothoracic Surgery teams. The role involves performing a range of procedures including TAVR, High risk PCI with Impella or IABP, Watchman, and a full spectrum of diagnostic studies such as EKG, TEE, Echocardiography, Nuclear & Treadmill Stress Test, and Monitors (holter, event monitors). The office is equipped with EKG machines. The facility has over 220 beds, is a Level III Trauma Center, and features a Stroke and Spine Center. The EMR system used is Epic. The position is open to newly trained fellows and practicing physicians, with rotations between the main office and satellite offices.

Requirements

Active IN License or willing to obtain
BC/BE (If BE, within 5 years of residency)
BLS/ACLS
Flu Vaccination

Responsibilities

Perform TAVR, High risk PCI with Impella or IABP
Perform Watchman procedures
Conduct a full spectrum of diagnostic studies including EKG, TEE, Echocardiography, Nuclear & Treadmill Stress Test, and Monitors (holter, event monitors)
Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology services
Participate in rotating call schedule
Round on patients
Rotate between main office and satellite offices
