About The Position

Provides clerical support in accounting functions, including auditing and verifying accounts for non-gaming operations. The role supports hospitality, retail, hotel, casino, and other operations through reconciliations, audits, billing, and cross-functional accounting projects.

Requirements

A combination of education and experience totaling two years in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field.
Two years of experience in a computerized accounting environment.
Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Basic knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Responsibilities

Assist accountants with daily and monthly accounting duties, including reconciling accounts, posting information, and balancing general or subsidiary ledgers.
Assist accounts payable with processing payments and filing paperwork.
Prepare account analyses for balance sheet accounts.
Prepare checks for deposit and post them to the general ledger.
Maintain the coupon-tracking database.
Compile and analyze tip information for tip tracking and reporting.
Audit and verify revenue accounts in Retail, Food & Beverage, Hotel, and Cage Operations.
Reconcile revenue records and report verification discrepancies to the appropriate department for resolution.
Balance monthly accounts for assigned operations.
Transmit and reconcile daily credit card sales with the appropriate company for payment.
Research credit card disputes for assigned operations.
Generate hospitality hotel and banquet billings.
Enter non-gaming complimentaries and coupons into a database and generate management reports on the data.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Assist the accounting supervisor and accountants with special projects.
May assist with payroll processing.
May perform the Casino Auditor role.
May conduct training for outlet cashiers.
May develop simple databases and generate related reports.
