This role involves identifying, originating, and closing new business opportunities within the transportation insurance sector. The representative will develop a comprehensive understanding of MMA's services and systems, handle inbound calls from prospects, complete applications, and enter information into various systems with attention to detail. They will also review quotes for accuracy, prepare and sell proposals, and assist Client Managers with cross-selling. The position requires soliciting new customers from lists and referrals, making outbound calls, and solving problems by aligning agency resources with client needs. Identifying target markets and contributing to client satisfaction are key aspects of the role. The representative will participate in service presentations, bring new business prospects to closure, and telemarket new client opportunities, all while maintaining a positive and motivated team-player attitude and meeting performance measures.
