Under the direct supervision of the EMS Supervisor or Paramedic (in the absence of a Captain or Lieutenant), this role is responsible for transporting ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients using wheeled chairs and stretchers. The driver ensures the vehicle is clean and prepared for safe patient transport, documents transports for departmental records and billing, and communicates effectively with patients, nursing staff, and the Medical Transport Dispatcher.
