Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required.
1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
Ability to obtain food safety certification.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.
Registered Dietician accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

Overall sales and relationship management for existing customers within an assigned territory.
Pursuing new customers.
Deepening and strengthening existing customer relationships.
Sales territory management.
Researching industry and market trends impacting customers.
Identifying and researching prospective customers.
Developing and presenting sales strategies.
Visiting all customers within the assigned territory.
Conducting business reviews to determine customer needs and growth opportunities.
Providing training and consultative services to customers.
Identifying opportunities where Gordon Food Service can add value.
Balancing new customer acquisition with deepening existing customer relationships.
Coordinating visits to prospective and existing customers.
