About The Position
The Non-Certified CT Technologist (CT Technologist Trainee) is an entry-level opportunity for new graduates and registered Radiologic Technologists seeking to advance into Computed Tomography. Under the direct supervision of a Certified CT Technologist, the trainee performs diagnostic CT procedures, supports Radiologists, and processes images through PACS. Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
- Radiology state license is required.
- Current ARRT- RT Certification is required upon hire
- ARRT- CT Certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations under the supervision of a Certified CT Technologist.
- Prepare and position patients while ensuring quality and safety.
- Produce diagnostic images following established CT and radiation safety protocols.
- Process images through PACS and complete required documentation.
- Support Radiologists and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Complete all required CT training and competencies within six (6) months.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
