About The Position

The Non-Certified CT Technologist (CT Technologist Trainee) is an entry-level opportunity for new graduates and registered Radiologic Technologists seeking to advance into Computed Tomography. Under the direct supervision of a Certified CT Technologist, the trainee performs diagnostic CT procedures, supports Radiologists, and processes images through PACS. Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
  • Radiology state license is required.
  • Current ARRT- RT Certification is required upon hire
  • ARRT- CT Certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT examinations under the supervision of a Certified CT Technologist.
  • Prepare and position patients while ensuring quality and safety.
  • Produce diagnostic images following established CT and radiation safety protocols.
  • Process images through PACS and complete required documentation.
  • Support Radiologists and the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Complete all required CT training and competencies within six (6) months.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
