About The Position

This position performs a variety of tasks associated with warehouse and inventory control operations. It is responsible for loading trucks with merchandise for delivery to stores and/or customers and unloading merchandise at the assigned destination. The role is authorized to operate and drive a company vehicle and includes delivery driving in vans and box trucks with a gross vehicle weight under 26,001 pounds. This is a seasonal, full-time position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Motor Vehicle Record that meets company safety standards.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Ability to regularly lift at least 50 pounds individually.
• Ability to lift items over 200 pounds with group assistance.
• Ability to regularly bend and/or kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work flexible schedules to accommodate peak-season workflow, including nights and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a distribution center.
• Lift-gate, pallet jack, and forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles.
• Operate a company vehicle to deliver merchandise safely and on time to designated stores and customers.
• Move merchandise to and from assigned areas within the warehouse.
• Use a handheld inventory scanner to pick and pack orders.
• Perform all tasks safely and according to company policies and standards.
• Interact professionally and courteously with coworkers and customers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel.
• Follow federal, state, and local road rules, including DOT operating and recording procedures, and drive according to weather and road conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
