We are seeking a dependable Non-CDL Route Driver to service residential and commercial customers daily using a pickup truck and trailer. This position requires safe driving, independent work, basic vehicle maintenance, and regular communication with management. Candidates must be comfortable handling totes weighing up to 100 pounds, working around strong, unpleasant odors, and working weekends.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license; CDL is not required.
  • Ability to safely operate a pickup truck while towing bumper-pull and gooseneck trailers.
  • Ability to independently connect and disconnect both trailer types.
  • Knowledge of proper vehicle and trailer inspections and basic maintenance.
  • Ability to use a mobile phone for work-related tasks.
  • Dependability, sound judgment, and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a pickup truck while towing a trailer to customer locations.
  • Complete daily residential and commercial service routes.
  • Perform proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer, reporting any safety or equipment concerns.
  • Perform minor maintenance, including checking and adding fluids and replacing marker lights.
  • Independently connect and disconnect bumper-pull and gooseneck trailers, ensuring secure connections before travel.
  • Safely pull, move, and transport totes weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Use a mobile phone for route information, service updates, and communication.
  • Work independently and manage daily assignments responsibly.
  • Communicate with management about route progress, customer concerns, delays, and equipment issues.
  • Follow company safety procedures and provide professional customer service.
