About The Position

Prime Meats is seeking a Non-CDL Truck Driver to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL. Since 1992, we have been delivering premium proteins to restaurants, butcher shops, and grocery partners. This is a full-time position with guaranteed 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience as a CDL driver.
• Willing to travel out of town weekly.
• Willing to lift up to 110 lbs.
• Willing to get Composite or steel-toe shoes.
• No serious tickets or accidents in the last 3 years.
• DOT Medical Card/physical, required.
• No DWI/DUI in the last 10 years.
• E-Verify.

• Bilingual (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections daily and report any maintenance related issues to the Logistics Department.
• Meet delivery schedules and report to dispatch any delays within the route.
• Unload products for customers at the final delivery point.
• Document and log work/rest periods on the ELD and submit fuel/toll receipts.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Collect customer payments, validate delivery and verify any specific instructions.
• Report any incidents or DOT violations.
