About The Position

Raw Seafoods is seeking a Non-CDL Truck Driver to join their team. This role is responsible for transporting goods and materials within specific timeframes. The work is fast-paced, physical, and requires attention to detail regarding the security and quality of the job performed. The schedule typically starts at 4:00 am, 5-6 days a week, though times and days may vary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) required.
• Valid non-commercial Driver's License.
• Valid MA DOT Medical Card
• Ability to operate pallet jacks (or willing to train).
• Some heavy lifting involved, up to 50lbs may be required.
• Ability to stay on feet for long periods of time.
• Ability to pass random drug and alcohol screenings.
• Understanding of shipping and receiving protocols (BOLs, Manifest, etc.).
• Must be friendly, team-oriented, and have a positive attitude.
• Attendance and reliability are extremely important.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience driving a 24-26ft box truck preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates a 26' Box Truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds.
• Use of material handling equipment (pallet jacks).
• Handle deadlines for deliveries and pickups.
• Ensure that orders are accurate.
• Lift boxes and move needed products.
• Operate handling equipment, following safety requirements.
• Maintain a high level of health and safety requirements and standards.
• Loading and unloading freight, which may require physical labor such as lifting heavy loads, securing cargo, and operating machinery like pallet jacks or forklifts.
