About The Position

The Non-CDL Truck Driver will drive a small truck to transport cargo to and from destinations within the immediate local area. This role operates on a 1st Shift schedule from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday. In addition to completing the application here, candidates must also complete an application via Tenstreet to be considered. Requirements

2+ years recent commercial delivery-driving experience.
Valid state-issued driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
Strong commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

Inspects the truck pre- and post-trip.
Accurately complete vehicle inspection sheets, fuel consumption logs, daily log sheets, bills of lading, vehicle trip records, and expense reports.
Ensures all cargo is loaded, checked, and safely secured during transit.
Assists with or oversees loading and unloading of cargo to ensure secure transit.
Acquires all proper signatures on shipping/receiving documents.
Monitors the maintenance and repair of the truck.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally and representing the company positively.
Responsible for following all Federal and State DOT regulations as well as warehouse safety regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
