About The Position

As a vital member of VPNE’s growing transportation division, the Overnight Non-CDL Shuttle Driver & Lot Attendant ensures the safe transport of employees and customers while managing overnight garage logistics at our busy MCO airport parking facility. This role combines exceptional customer service with hands-on facility management, vehicle parking, and site security. We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious professional who can extend our "Exceptional Care" philosophy to every passenger and guest.

Requirements

  • Flexible availability, including the ability to work overnight shifts (minimum 2 per week).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal).
  • Valid State Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Must possess an updated DOT Medical Clearance Card.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and a company-issued driving test.
  • Capacity to operate various vehicle types (both automatic and manual transmissions) and use smartphone apps or handheld radios.

Nice To Haves

  • Able to sit for long periods while driving, stand/walk for extended periods on the lot, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in changing Florida weather conditions.

  • Excellent time management skills and a commitment to maintaining company uniform standards at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport authorized employees and customers from our parking facility to designated MCO airport terminal areas on a set schedule to minimize delays.
  • Safely park, retrieve, and relocate non-commercial vehicles within the garage or designated lot locations.
  • Monitor the facility during overnight hours for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, or safety hazards.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections (logging damage, mileage, and fuel), report mechanical issues, and track the shuttle maintenance schedule.
  • Keep driveways clear of debris, organize vehicles in designated bays, and securely organize and catalog vehicle keys in the facility office.
  • Greet late-night or early-morning travelers, process parking tickets, complete overnight shift logs, and assist with basic office duties.
  • Relay critical operational information concisely via shuttle radio or in person to managers and passengers.
