Non-CDL Route Sales Driver - Lexington, KY
About The Position
This position involves driving over established routes or territories to sell and deliver dairy products. The driver will maintain existing accounts, build strong customer relationships, and distribute authorized products. Responsibilities include maintaining company property such as trucks, computers, and cell phones, and adhering to all D.O.T. and company D.O.T. guidelines. The role also requires managing the dairy case at customer stops, ensuring proper stock rotation and acceptable product appearance. Significant customer contact is expected, necessitating sales skills.
Requirements
- Must possess and maintain at least a valid Class D Operator's License.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical including a drug test.
- Basic skills in math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), reading, and writing.
- Ability to drive, stand, walk, kneel, lift, and bend for virtually the entire shift.
- Ability to balance pulling product and climb in and out of the truck.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to six cases on a hand truck (cases weigh 20 to 55 lbs).
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments with cold and hot temperatures.
- Dependable, responsible, trustworthy, early riser, willing to work long and flexible hours.
