About The Position

This opportunity is for a safety and customer-focused Non-CDL Driver in Fife, WA. The role involves loading and properly securing equipment and/or attachments for transport to and from customer sites and rental yards. Drivers will receive training on the safe use of equipment. It is a physically demanding job requiring attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety. The driver must communicate and cooperate with customers, respond to their questions, and safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with company and DOT Guidelines, Rules and Regulations. Daily vehicle inspections are required to identify repair/maintenance needs, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. The driver is also responsible for maintaining vehicle cleanliness and appearance and works closely with Rental Coordinators and/or the Branch Manager. Non-CDL drivers will operate vehicles weighing between 10,000-26,000 lbs. Other assigned duties must be completed in a timely manner.

Requirements

A High School or G.E.D. is required
Requires at least three years driving experience.
Dependable, responsible, and committed to the safe operation of the vehicle and to the safe and timely pickup and delivery of equipment/attachments.
No preventable accidents, license suspensions, alcohol related violations or other moving violations in the past 3 years.
Excellent attendance record.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in equipment delivery is preferred.
Previous experience in the rental industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for loading and properly securing equipment and/or attachments, to and from customer sites and our rental yards.
Communicate and cooperate with customers, respond to their questions, and safely operate delivery vehicle in compliance with company and DOT Guidelines, Rules and Regulations.
Complete daily vehicle inspections to identify the need for repairs and/or maintenance and ensuring the maintenance or repairs are accomplished with a minimum of disruption to the operation.
Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of vehicle.
Works closely with the Rental Coordinators and/or Branch Manager.
Complete other duties assigned in a timely manner.
