About The Position

The main purpose of this position is to transport staff, guests, and students utilizing a 15-passenger shuttle bus and/or ministry vehicle. This is a seasonal position with a flexible job shift and requires 75% travel. The role involves driving between Woodland Park and Denver International Airport, picking up and delivering packages, and ensuring the safety and security of loads. The driver will also be responsible for completing inspections, maintaining driver qualifications, reporting vehicle malfunctions, and assisting with vehicle cleanliness.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent education is required
• Must sign Statement of Faith
• Has reliable transportation
• Must pass a background check
• Valid Drivers License
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good customer relation skills
• Safe driving recordable to meet ministry insurance requirements
• Able to communicate effectively with passengers with discretion
• Able to work weekends and nights
• Able to work bible college conference events and performances
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office programs

Nice To Haves

• Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred
• 15 passenger shuttle bus experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Drive a shuttle bus or ministry vehicle from Woodland Park to Denver International Airport and back.
• Pick up, load, and deliver packages, supplies, product, and/or merchandise between campuses.
• Ensure load is safe and secure.
• Follow all traffic laws.
• Complete all driver pre-trip and post-trip inspections and paperwork.
• Maintain all required driver qualifications.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions through the ministrys vehicle management program.
• Help maintain cleanliness of all vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.
