About The Position
Charlie's Produce is a privately owned wholesale produce company and the largest privately owned produce wholesaler on the West Coast. We are looking for dedicated individuals passionate about food, supply chain, and their community to help us enhance our communities through quality produce. This role is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of produce to customers throughout the Phoenix Metro area.
Requirements
- Be 23 yrs. or older
- 1+ year of driving experience highly preferred
- Valid drivers license and medical card
- Interstate qualification, registered
- Demonstrated ability to lift/push/pull 50+ lbs. throughout shift
- Per DOT rules, applicant should have the ability to read and understand English
- Satisfactory driving record
- Passing a criminal background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (includes THC)
- Company road test
Responsibilities
- Accurately check invoices as you make deliveries
- Load and unload product from trailer with electric pallet jack
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Perform superior customer service as you interact with customers at each delivery
- Assist in issuing credit memos and collecting payment for COD customers
- Promote and maintain a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude with colleagues
- Palletized product is delivered to a dock or with a lift gate
- All other duties as requested or assigned
