About The Position

This position delivers ice to customers in vehicles that do not require a Commercial Driver’s License. The route driver is assigned a specific geographic region and/or route to service. The delivery region, route, and type of equipment operated is subject to change depending on business needs.

Requirements

• Must have a High School education or GED.
• Requires a minimum of an operator’s driver’s license.
• At least two years of driving experience.
• Must possess a clean driving record.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Exceptional customer relations skills.
• Required to lift 40 lbs. throughout the day.
• Required to work in all weather conditions.
• Weekend, night, and holiday work is a requirement of the position.
• Overtime may be required.

Nice To Haves

• Two years previous local delivery driver experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers ice to customers in vehicles that do not require a Commercial Driver’s License.
• Assigned a specific geographic region and/or route to service.
• Unloads, loads, and rotates product in merchandisers / iceboxes.
• Performs work in retail stores; frequently driving between retail stores and plant location.
