Non CDL Driver - Paducah, KY
About The Position
Join the Clark Distributing Company team and deliver leading industry brands such as Miller, Coors, Corona, Sam Adam's, Mike's Lemonade, Guinness, Heineken, Yuengling and many others, to our local retail partners. The Non CDL Driver role is responsible for the delivery of products in the safe operation and delivery of smaller loads of products to our local store locations and merchandising the product within the store location. This route requires touch of freight, driving of a vehicle that does not require a CDL commercial license. This route requires touch freight and is required to lift 5lbs up to 65lbs.
Requirements
- DOT Medical Card
- Self-motivated to be safe and effective on the job, including compliance with all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
- Desire to work in an individual atmosphere for a large percentage of the worktime.
- Customer focused mentality and strong desire to meet retailer needs through on time product delivery.
- Aged 20 years or older.
- Verifiable CDL driving experience.
- No more than two moving violations within the past two years.
- Two or less preventable accidents within the last three years.
- No DUI/DWI or serious moving violations in the previous five years.
- No felonies within the previous two years, and no more than one misdemeanor or offense related to alcohol within the previous two years.
Responsibilities
- Transport products from the warehousing locations to the store locations.
- Situate products within the store location to ready for merchandising.
- Merchandise products as needed at store locations.
- Coordinate delivery of products with local distribution management.
