About The Position

The Plant Non-Production - Driver - Non-CDL Driver is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely customer deliveries within set time parameters. The role requires performing job duties safely and courteously, maintaining an unblemished driving record, and adhering to all company and DOT requirements, including daily documentation. The driver must also follow Core Linen Services policies, maintain a neat appearance in uniform, adhere to the attendance policy, keep company equipment clean and organized, report mechanical issues promptly, follow universal precautions on the soil side, maintain DOT documentation and certifications, and report any customer service issues.

Requirements

• Ability to work second shift from 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM, weekends and possibly holidays.
• Have and maintain a clean driving record with a valid driver’s license.
• Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and MVR background check.
• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Be able to push/pull a wheeled cart of 700lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload linen carts at the company’s and customer’s place of business, tagging each one accordingly.
• Completely fill out all required paperwork/logs and turn them in daily.
• Weigh all soil under the correct customer and deliver all soil to the soil room.
• Disinfect vehicles after each soil pickup.
• Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and orderly manner.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Turn in a Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Report daily.
• Perform customer deliveries in an accurate and timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
