NON CDL Driver Home Daily
About The Position
Immediate opening for a SOLO NON CDL Home Daily Truck Driver in Jacksonville, FL. This position offers a competitive weekly paycheck of $940 or more, with a starting hourly rate of $23.50 for 40+ hours per week. Paid training is provided. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a start time of 5:30 AM. Drivers will deliver SOLO within FL on a local, home-daily route, operating a 26' Straight Truck or a 26' Flatbed Trailer. Freight is touch freight, consisting of electrical supplies. Ryder provides all necessary equipment, including a pallet jack, forklift, and lift gate, with training provided. The company emphasizes transparency regarding pay and route details.
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Must have verifiable driving experience (must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck): 6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities
- Safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
- Maintaining accurate records
- Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
- Other tasks as assigned
