This position requires occasional labor-intensive work, including lifting requirements of 75 pounds or more. The driver will work in accordance with Ecowaste Solutions Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA requirements, and all local, state, and federal laws. Responsibilities include driving a pick-up truck with a trailer for deliveries and pick-ups, manually or mechanically loading and emptying containers, operating hoisting devices, assisting the driver with backing maneuvers, and performing various site preparation and material handling tasks. The role also involves cleaning and preparing job sites, picking and sorting materials, using a variety of tools and machines, identifying and sorting materials for proper organization, working in all weather conditions, and unloading customer material by hand. Assembling/disassembling containers and driving/delivering containers are also key duties. The driver must immediately report any unsafe situations or service-related issues to the Route Manager or Dispatch and attend all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings.
