Requirements

Proven experience as a driver within the moving or warehouse industry.
Strong driving skills preferred.
Experience with 26ft. box trucks.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to load and unload goods efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing logistics operations.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
Must be punctual and ready for dispatch times.
Represent the company professionally when driving or at job sites.
Report any damage, incidents or delays immediately.

Responsibilities

Complete all pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck interior and exterior.
Responsible for vehicle safety, fuel usage, and equipment load security.
Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues.
Lead packing of the truck.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Exemplify all operational procedures, customer service standards, and equipment usage.
Oversee loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Maintain accurate records of inventory and equipment usage.
Provide excellent customer service.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely deliveries.
