Requirements

  • Proven experience as a driver within the moving or warehouse industry.
  • Strong driving skills preferred.
  • Experience with 26ft. box trucks.
  • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to load and unload goods efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing logistics operations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
  • Must be punctual and ready for dispatch times.
  • Represent the company professionally when driving or at job sites.
  • Report any damage, incidents or delays immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck interior and exterior.
  • Responsible for vehicle safety, fuel usage, and equipment load security.
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues.
  • Lead packing of the truck.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Exemplify all operational procedures, customer service standards, and equipment usage.
  • Oversee loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and equipment usage.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely deliveries.
