About The Position

Imperial Dade is seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver for their Livermore, CA location. This role involves making daily stops on a local route, safely operating a box truck, and using a pallet jack, dolly, and lift gate to offload merchandise. The position offers a variable schedule, typically a 4/10 shift between Monday and Saturday, starting at 5:00 am and ending around 3:30 pm or upon completion of the daily route. The pay rate is $26.00 per hour. Imperial Dade is a leading North American distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Must have a valid DOT medical card or be able to pass a DOT medical exam
• Good driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• 1 year of lift gate experience
• 1 year of recent Delivery Driver experience
• 1 year of recent Non-CDL experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

• Electric Pallet Jack experience

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26' box truck or 53' trailer with air brakes
• Load and unload cargo
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
