About The Position

This position is responsible for driving trucks over established routes to safely and efficiently deliver products and render services. The role involves collecting money from customers, making change, and recording transactions. Drivers will load and/or unload products at various locations, primarily within a specific geographic territory, usually completing these tasks within their shift. They will deliver items such as perishable foods, table top items, special equipment, and frozen foods. Additionally, drivers will inform customers of new products or services, distribute sales promotion materials, and resolve customer complaints. Recording information on daily sales/delivery records and obtaining customer signatures are also key duties. The role requires compliance with company policies and D.O.T. regulations, along with regular and reliable attendance. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a current Driver’s License and clean driving record for past 39 months
Must be available to work with the demands of the department which are subject to overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Delivery experience preferred
High School Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

Informing customers of new products or services and issues sales promotion materials and resolving customer complaints
Recording information on daily sales/delivery record and obtaining customer signatures upon pickup/delivery
Complying with company policies and D.O.T. regulations.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs
