About The Position

Imperial Dade is hiring a Non CDL Delivery Driver in Columbus, GA. This role involves delivering products to multiple stops daily, unloading merchandise using a hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and ensuring delivery to the customer's preferred location. Exceptional customer service is a key component of this position. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, or until the daily route is completed.

Requirements

• A good driving record
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
• Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after the trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude
