About The Position

Sam Rust Seafood is seeking reliable and professional Delivery Drivers to deliver fresh, frozen, and live seafood products to clients including fine dining establishments and retail markets. The role also includes warehouse duties as needed. Deliveries cover Hampton Roads, Richmond, and regional locations including Virginia’s Eastern Shore, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Fredericksburg, Lynchburg, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina, using the company’s fleet of refrigerated trucks. Full-time candidates must be available Monday through Saturday. The shift begins between 5 and 6 a.m.; all shifts are day shifts. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the interview process. Hourly pay is $18.00–$22.00. Benefits vary by employment status.

Requirements

Must be at least 22 years of age.
Possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record, with 0 or positive points.
Be reliable and punctual.
Be able to consistently lift 75 pounds.
Have a customer service mindset.
Be willing to assist with warehouse tasks as needed.
Have experience with hand trucks or dollies and loading and unloading procedures.
Be able to work independently and stay self-motivated.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Pass a drug test and background check.
Obtain a DOT Medical Card before employment and maintain it throughout employment.

Prior delivery experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
