About The Position

Heritage Landscape Supply is seeking a Non CDL Delivery Driver. The Non-CDL Driver is responsible for operating a vehicle for transporting goods, products, or materials to various destinations. SRS Distribution Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Home Depot, consists of a family of industry-leading, independent roofing distributors. Requirements

  • Possession of a valid state driver's license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with using navigation systems.
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant driving experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift or skid steer experience is a plus, not mandatory.
  • Previous experience in driving or logistics preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate a non-CDL vehicle ensuring all products, goods, or materials are transported to their destinations.
  • Perform pre and post vehicle inspections and report any discrepancies.
  • Load and unload vehicle as required.
  • Follow delivery schedule and communicate any delays or issues promptly.
  • Provide excellent customer service during the delivery and pick-up operations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of all transport and vehicle maintenance.
