About The Position

South Main Trucking, an affiliate of Scott Electric Company, has a current opening at our Erie, PA, branch for a Full-Time Non-CDL Delivery Driver, Monday-Friday, hours vary from 6:00AM-7:00AM until complete. Scott Electric Company is one of the largest independent electrical distributors in the United States, with storefront locations throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, and West Virginia. Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
• Prior experience in van/box truck operation
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving history
• Minimum age of 25 (insurance requirement)
• Pass a DOT Physical
• Must submit a background check and drug testing

Nice To Haves

• Forklift operation experience
• Electrical product knowledge

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks for deliveries
• Load and unload materials from trucks
• Deliver goods to various sites in a timely and professional manner
• Ability to unload the assigned truck at delivery sites
