About The Position
Rheem Northeast Distribution is hiring a Non‑CDL Delivery Driver for our MCN Distributor branch in North Haven, CT. Requirements
- 1 year minimum of delivery/commercial driving experience is required; box truck experience preferred
- A valid driver’s license and a good driving record per company policy
- Must be able to obtain or currently have a DOT medical card
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to follow direction and safe operating procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights of 20 ft. on a regular basis
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience with certification is preferred
Responsibilities
- Follow all Department of Transportation standards and regulations, including performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Complete necessary paperwork for delivered merchandise
- Load/unload merchandise and ensure the vehicle is organized
- Pull product, load and unload trucks when not performing driving duties
- Back up other drivers routes when needed
- Provide quality customer service
- Warehouse work and all other duties as assigned
