About The Position
The Non-CDL Driver for Heritage Pool is responsible for operating a vehicle for transporting goods, products, or materials to various destinations without the need for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). This position requires daily local travel and involves regular physical activity including lifting, loading and unloading goods, and long hours of driving.
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to frequently lift up to 50lbs.
- Possession of a valid state driver's license.
- Clean driving record.
- Familiarity with using navigation systems.
- Proficiency in English required for communication regarding safety.
- Able to pass a background, driving and drug screen.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant driving experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a non-CDL vehicle ensuring all products, goods, or materials are transported to their destinations.
- Perform pre and post vehicle inspections and report any discrepancies.
- Load and unload vehicle as required.
- Follow delivery schedule and communicate any delays or issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service during the delivery and pick-up operations.
- Maintain accurate logs of all transport and vehicle maintenance.
